Hydro Shield will get your boat on plane faster, allowing you to remain on plane at lower speeds and rpm's. It also improves handling and lowers your fuel burn at low and cruising RPM settings. Hydro-Shield will also protect your propeller from damage due to underwater impacts, and its 316th's marine grade stainless steel bracket system acts as a skeg guard, strengthening and reinforcing the skeg.

Made from an energy-absorbing plastic compound, Hydro Shield can withstand impacts, natural or man-made. Even if your boat strikes natural hazards like rocks, coral, oyster beds, or sandbars, or man-made hazards like lobster and crab pots, Hydro Shield maintains its integrity and protects your prop and skeg.

Tangible results

21' palm beach center console with a 140hp suzuki 4 stroke.
I'm not one to jump on the latest trends, or even write a review unless it's deserved.
Hydro-shield does what it says it'll do.
Quicker to plane.
Lower RPM to stay on plane.
And protect the prop.
I boat in Cedar key florida which is very shallow with sand & oyster bars. Very easy to run into shoaling.
Can't say much on fuel burn as I don't really monitor it, but I'm going to assume it has improved my fuel economy just because of the 1st 2 pro's I mentioned.
Solid product for a reasonable price.

Helps with lower speeds, idle and turns are much more stable

The product is great, does what it says. It did take 4 mph off my top end tho. Was a little confusing st first about install, but after watching a few how to videos, I installed in like 15 min. It's definitely worth the money. Just wish it didn't take from my top end speed.

This is the second Hydro-Shield I have purchased for my last two new Robalo boats. It is worth every penny!! Performance and handling improved once i added it to my 21' boat with a 200HP Yamaha.

21 foot sea pro 208 bay boat

I have a 2021 seapro bay boat with a 200 h.p Suzuki out board.
The boat does plain a little quicker, but feels as though the motor works harder and lost some top end, and the back of the boat feels unstable moving left to right!
