Hydro Shield will get your boat on plane faster, allowing you to remain on plane at lower speeds and rpm's. It also improves handling and lowers your fuel burn at low and cruising RPM settings. Hydro-Shield will also protect your propeller from damage due to underwater impacts, and its 316th's marine grade stainless steel bracket system acts as a skeg guard, strengthening and reinforcing the skeg.

Made from an energy-absorbing plastic compound, Hydro Shield can withstand impacts, natural or man-made. Hydro Shield Suggestion

I have purchased 2 of the hydro shields. One was for my small boat and made a nice difference in planing out and speed. The second was purchased for our pontoon boat mainly to protect the prop in shallow water. Both boats only have 25 hp motors.
One suggestion would be to provide templates for the holes for specific motors so the mounting process is easier. Overall this is a great product for both uses.

Does what it says on the Tin

After having installed the Hydro Shield on our Tohatso 20hp, we noticed a definite reduction in the time to get on plane, as well as a marked reduction in bow-rise when accelerating.
I would recommend this to all my friends.

I hope you guys sent me the right one because I see the one you sent is for a 17 foot or less and under a 100 horse and my boat is 17.5 and a 115 horse
